MAHF Mission
Our mission is to provide financial assistance to individuals and institutions in order to benefit the health and welfare of animals.

Companion Animal
Fund
The Companion Animal Fund is dedicated to improving the health and welfare of all species that provide companionship, including dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, reptiles, birds, and other beloved animals. The goal of this fund is to provide financial support for companion animals of every species, recognizing their vital role in our emotional and social well-being. We offer funding to pet owners facing non-elective, urgent, and unforeseen medical care expenses. By helping all companion animals, we enhance the lives of individuals and families, fostering a deeper bond between humans and their animal companions.

Grants for Education
and Research
Since 1977, MAHF has provided grants to help fund almost 50 research and educational projects through individuals and institutions to improve the health and welfare of all animals. These grants have improved veterinary care, animal housing and medical techniques for all species for animals. If you are looking for grant funding for your research or educational project, please submit an application for funding by July 1.
