Ziggy is a very sweet 12-year-old golden doodle who was brought to All Creatures Animal Clinic in Ann Arbor. He was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, a condition in which the adrenal glands overproduce certain hormones. Ziggy will need to be on medication for the rest of his life and will need follow-up diagnostics every 3 months, but his owner Justin is very dedicated to finding a way to keep him as comfortable and as well as possible. The MAHF Companion Animal Fund was able to assist in helping to fund some of his ongoing care. Ziggy is doing well after completing the first phase of his treatment. His cortisol levels are under control and he is on a steady dose of Trilostane.
