Arthur is a 5 month old Golden Retriever puppy that came in to Family Friends Veterinary Hospital after being very lethargic and vomiting for several days. As a young puppy that likes to get in to things there was a huge concern for something causing a bowel obstruction. Abdominal X-rays were taken and some questionable foreign material was seen. With the help of the Companion Animal Fund, Arthur was able to be hospitalized on IV fluids and taken to surgery for an abdominal explore. The combination of surgery and aggressive fluid therapy had Arthur feeling better in no time. Arthur was discharged the following day wagging his tail, very hungry, and ready go home to his very appreciative family.
